This is a mandatory online NIHE ACLS Instructor course that must be completed before the Instructor candidate may attend the classroom portion of the ACLS Instructor course. Link will be provided after signing up for the class.

To become an AHA PALS Instructor requires several steps:

Become an AHA PALS Instructor

Note: This is the AHA PALS Instructor course. You must be a current AHA PALS Provider and have a current AHA BLS Instructor card to be eligible to take this class. This course includes the PALS Instructor manual, the one day PALS Instructor course, the mandatory student teaching, and the mandatory AHA Training Center affiliation for 1 year. Please study the current PALS Provider manual as you will be required to pass the AHA PALS Provider exam with a score of 90% or better at the beginning of the class. If you do not pass you will be asked to reschedule. There is a $50 rescheduling fee. We book our instructors based on our student registrations in order to maintain mandatory AHA instructor/student ratios. Therefore, you must give us 30 days written notice to cancel any class in order to receive a full refund minus a $100 service charge. You may reschedule for a $50 rescheduling fee.
